The Big Buddha

The Big Buddha er en af de seværdigheder jeg synes man skal opleve, hvis man besøger Hong Kong. Jeg har tidligere besøgt stedet ved mit sidste ophold i Hong Kong, men jeg er stadig lige overraskede over, hvor stor han egentlig er. Derudover synes jeg der er noget specielt ved stedet. Stedet virker så fredfuldt også selvom stedet er rimelig overfyld med turister.
For at komme op på bjerget til The big Buddha, kan man tage cable cars, hvilket vi gjorde. Turen med cable cars er virkelig fantastisk, og selvom vi måtte vente rigtig længe; først pga. vejrforhold og senere pga. kø. Udsigten ned på ned på byen, bjergene og naturen omkring, er virkelig flot og noget for sig selv, hvilket jeg håber billederne giver et indtryk af.

The Big Buddha is one of the sights you must see if you are visiting Hong Kong. Though I have been there before, last time I was visiting Hong Kong, I’m still surprised over how big The Buddha really is. I find something special about the place. There is something peaceful over the place even though it is filled with tourist.
To get up to the Big Buddha, you can take the cable cars, which we did. The trip with the cable cars are very amazing, even though we had to wait a long time; first because of the weather Conditions and later because of line to the cable cars. The view down on the town and on the mountains and nature around are really amazing and something for itself, which i hope the pictures can give an impression of.
