My Amsterdam guide

Between all the preparation for my exams, I’m dreaming back to Amsterdam. Amsterdam really made a great impression on me, and I really hope that I soon will return to the city.

What I really love about the city is the small channels, with is houseboats and small bridges. Beside that I like the medieval look of the houses and that the houses is really narrow. The history behind it is; the more money they had, the more wider house they build.

When I was in Amsterdam I visited Museum Van Loon. The museum tells the story of the Van Loon family, which have been closely connected to the city of Amsterdam. The museum show how a prosperous family earlier have been living, and how the fashion was at that time. I must say the fashion at that time was lovely, just take a look on the pattern suit.

I also went to Eye, where you can see and try the technological developments film has undergone. 😀

Amsterdam has also great shopping opportunities. You can visit the nine streets or some more local markets, where you can find vintage items or crafts; like these handmade wood figures for painting.

I promise that I in my next post will show you, what’s in the shopping bag.
Maybe you can guess what it is? 

Now the most important part of the trip; the food. Amsterdam offers you all; from India, Chinese, to Italy, French. You can have dinner at a Michelin star restaurant, where I had a food-journey at Lastage, or small cafes.  It is a good idea to check up on the eating places in Amsterdam. Do yourself the service and see what other people recommend on sites like TripAdvisor, because some of the places are great others just tourist traps.

Some of the places I really can recommend”Ijssalon Tofanni” they have an amazing ice cream and sorbet. They even has a soy ice cream if you are lactose intolerance.

If you like Chinese/Asian food then visit  “New King”. The food is great and really reminds me of my summer vacation in Hong Kong. The only thing that I don’t think they do in China is; in Amsterdam you eat roasted onion with the rice? 😀

On my trip in Amsterdam I also visit the small place “Omelegg“. The place has the most delicious omelet, served with salad and bread. You really get a tasty meal for a fair price. I couldn’t eat mine up. I was so full that I skipped dinner and took a midnight snack when traveling home.

The only thing I missed in Amsterdam was my WiFi. Sometimes you could find places/spots with free WiFi, but then the WiFi wasn’t good.

50 Shades of Green

More stripes… I can’t get too much of it. This green and white striped top, is together with my lace up striped top my absolute favorites stiped tops. For this outfit I have styled the top with different shades of green.
Especially the bomber jacket has a gorgeous green pattern, and have been used a lot last year when the weather allowed it. Besides bomber jacket is really trendy and a cool way to add a sporty look for the outfit.

This Saturday I’m going to a lifestyle bazaar which I’m really are looking forward to. It is always fun to see what they small stands has to offer, all from cloth, jewellery and beauty products to tasty products like honey with forest berry, yummy.

Flere striper…. Jeg kan ikke få nok. Denne grønne og hvid stribede trøje er sammen med min lace up stribde top  mine absolutte favorit trøjer. For dette outfit har jeg stylet toppen med forskellige nuancer af grøn.
Især bomber jakken har et fantastisk grønt mønster, og er blevet brugt en del sidste år, når vejret tillod det. Derudover er bomber jakker virkelig moderne, og en super måde, at tilføje et sporty look til dit outfit.

Denne lørdag skal jeg til livsstils basar, hvilket jeg virkelig ser frem til. Det er altid sjovt, at se hvad de små boder har at tilbyde, lige fra tøj, smykker og beauty produkter til honning med skovbær, mums.

The little things in March

This spring we have again hatched eggs. There is nothing cuter than these day-old chicks.

I hope you had a lovely Easter, I had but the time after Easter has really been intense.

I have in the past week been totally consumed of a assignment, which is going to be a part of my oral examination this summer. To be honest, I’m not satisfied with the assignment, but that is life and I still have time to improve my performance.

Jeg håber i havde en dejlig påske. Jeg havde, men tiden efter påsken har virkelig være hektisk.

Jeg har i den foregående uge skrevet AT-synopsis, som jeg til sommer skal til eksamen i. Skal jeg være ærlig, så er jeg ikke tilfreds med opgaven, heldigvis har jeg stadig mulighed for at forbedre min præstation.

I Love Demin

Hi, how is your week so far? I’m sorry for the silence on the blog this week, but I have in this week end of term examinations, so I’m focusing on that.
Luckily is tomorrow the last day with examinations, but the last two days have just been exhausting after five hours with test.

Hej, hvordan er din uge indtil videre? Jeg beklager virkelig for stilheden på bloggen i denne uge, men skolemæssig står ugen på terminsprøver. Heldigvis er der kun imorgen tilbage, men de sidste to dage, der har jeg været helt færdig efter 5 timers terminsprøverne.

Pearls and Floral For Spring

Hello Best Readers.
Happy Saturday. I have in the last week walking around in my new floral bomber jacket, and I can’t wait to wear it through spring and summer.

The bomber jacket is more sporty than the blazer, but are still something you can use with heels or sneakers, formal or casual, which I love! <3.

I like the pink, baby blue and dark blue floral print. It is so colorful but still very neutral and simple, which is perfect for my color fright.

God lørdag til jer derude. Jeg har brugt den sidste uge på, at vise min nye blomsterprintet bomberjacket frem. Jeg kan ikke vente med, at gå med den gennem foråret og sommeren. 

En bomberjacket er mere sporty end en blazer, men det er samtidig en jakke, du kan bruge med hæle eller sneakers, for et hverdags- eller aftenlook.

Jeg er vild med det lyserøde, babyblå og mørkeblå blomster print. Der er farverigt, men samtidig neutralt og simpel, hvilket er perfect til min farveforskrækkelse. 

The floral print and my new pearl balls earrings are like made for each other. They goes so well together. I love how the pearls make up the lock of the earrings, and give the earrings some size too.

Blomsterprintet og mine perle øreringe, er som skabt for hinanden. De går virkelig godt sammen. Jeg er vil med hvordan perlen udgør selve låsen på øreringen, derudover giver perlen også øreringen noget størrelse.

Snowing Saturday

I thought it was over with the coldness and show, but I got surprised this morning when I wake up to this snow landscape.

When I was outside trying to snap some outfits pictures for today’s post it started to snow again, which unfortunately affects the quality of the pictures. I must make it up to you a day. Before it started to snow too much and I gave up, I got these quick pictures.

It is amazing what a pair of skinny high waist jeans can do for you when you just 164 cm high. These jeans are not to high but still not low jeans and I find them therefore totally perfect.
As you maybe know, I’m for the moment in love with print and pattern. This t-shirt is simpler but have and lovely geometric print.

The cardigan/jacket is actually a male cardigan/jacket that I found in a second hand shop last year. I have then sewed the sleeve to, so it isn’t too loose and big. I like it gives an oversize and vintage look.

Valentine’s Day is up and it is weekend; what are your plans for these days?

Singing in the rain

  

Autumn is a very rainy and cold season, but it is also a very beautiful season. I have been enjoying the autumn by walking in the nature, eating apples and pears from the garden, and picking this season’s last dahlias which is one of my favorite flowers. The pictures are some moments I have been taking during the week. I hope you enjoy this small moments as much as I do.

The last couple of day has for me been in a little bit of a hurry. It is soon december where I have, I think, the biggest assignment of my high school time called SRP – Study direction project. I have been to meetings with my teachers, who is going to design this assignment especially for me and I have therefore been using a lot of time to find material to this assignment. I can feel on myself that this assignment really means something for me and I have therefore had my brain 110% focusing on this. But now I can relax, which i sometimes forget and can be really bad to – how can you be bad at relaxing?-. Now I can’t do anything else that wait to I get my problem definition on the assignment in december

Efteråret er en meget våd og regnfuld årstid, men det er også en meget smuk årstid. Jeg har nydt efteråret med at gå ture i det frie, spist æbler og pærer fra haven og plukke de sidste georginer, som er en af mine ynglings blomster. Billederne er nogle øjeblikke, jeg har fået taget i løbet af den sidste uges tid. Jeg har i nyde dem ligeså meget som jeg gør.

De sidste par dage har for mig været en smule stressende. Det er snart december hvilket betyder, at jeg snart skal skrive den største opgave der er i gymnasiet, SRP. Jeg kan været til vejledninger, hvor jeg har skulle finde materiale osv. da problemformuleringen er lavede efter mine ønsker. Jeg kan mærke på mig selv, at denne opgave betyder rigtig meget for mig, og jeg har derfor været 110 % fokuseret på den. Men nu kan jeg slappe af, hvilket jeg kan være rigtig dårlig til – Hvordan kan man være dårlig til at slappe af?-.  Nu kan jeg ikke rigtig gøre andet end a vente, til jeg får min problemformulering i december.

A Look Back

  

It is time to take a look back on this week’s small moments.
I started my last day before back to school, with late breakfast, here overnight oatmeal topped with fresh blueberries and cinnamon, and by watching children programmes. I have great memories for my childhood watching Curious George and Postman Pat.

I worn a summertop bought in Hong Kong and a clasic blazer -totally business women-, at my first day back in School.
Went all in on “The Bandana Trend”, by wearing a matching t-shirt to my bags bandana.

Det er tid til at se tilbage på denne uges små øjeblikke.
Havde en blomstrede sommertop købt i Hong Kong, og en klassik blazer på, den første skoledag i 3.g. Totalt business woman.
Gik all in på The Bandana Trend, ved at have en matchende t-shirt på, som passede perfekt til min taskes bandana. 

 
Made a this DIY Proejct for my friends 18th years old birhday party. A frozen money Pizza. She got really happy. She had wished money but now she also got the perfect treat against hangover. There was to much Vodka, do I need to say more ? 😛

Lavede dette projekt for min venindes 18 års fødselsdags fest. En frosen penge Pizaa. Hun blev virkelig glad for den. Hun havde ønskede sig, lige præcis det hun fik, men derudover fik hun også tømmermænds mad til næste dag. Der blev indtaget en del vodka, behøver jeg og side mere. 😛

Lavede denne smukke buket af blomster fra vores have. Lyserøde roser og orange morgenfruer, i min elskede Kähler vase.

Hi Roskilde

When I in last week was visiting Roskilde, I wasn’t only visiting the shop Normal. After my too brief visitng Normal I went to see the famous catherdral in Roskilde and the viking Ship Museum at the port – A little cultural a duckling must experience -.

Da jeg i sidste uge besøgte Roskilde var jeg ikke kun et smut i Normal. Jeg var efter mit alt for korte besøg i Normal, henne og se den berømte Roskilde domkirke og vikingeskibmuseumset – Lidt kulturelle må en blue duckling opleve -.
 
When I had been culturel enough I walked down to the harbor where I completed my visiting in Roskilde with vanilla ice cream and this amazing view which I took some snapshots of. As you can see i found some politely fellows “Hi ducklings” 😛
Roskilde is a very nice town with an amazing harbor view. It is sad that I don’t come to Roskilde more often – especially because I will love to visiting Normal more often -. 😀

Da jeg havde været kulturelle nok gik vi ned til havnen, hvor jeg afsluttet mit besøg i Roskilde med vanilje is fra Paradis is og denne fantastiske udsigt, hvilket jeg har fanget et par billeder af. Som i kan se fandt jeg nogle venlige venner 😛
Roskilde er en virkelig dejlig by med en virkelig smuk havneudsigt. Det er trist jeg ikke komme til Roskilde oftere end jeg gør – Især fordi jeg vil elske at besøge Normal noget ofter-. 😀

Into the Cave

     

Da vi var i Hong Kong, besøgte vi øen “Cheung Chau Tung”, som ligger ca.  times tid (30 min. med express) fra “Central” med færge.

Øen er speciel kendt for sine fiskeprodukter, hvilket jeg også må tilkende give. Tror aldrig jeg har smagt bedre fiskeboller end der -mums-.Udover fiskeprodukter og andre forskellige boder, så findes der på den anden side af øen en hule, som vi selvfølgelig skulle hen og se. Øen er som, mange andre steder i Hong Kong, virkelig smuk og har sin helt egen charme.

When I was in Hong Kong i visited the island “Cheung Chau Tung” which is about 1 hour’s time (30 mins with express) from “Central” with ferry. 

The island is very famous for it’s fish-products and for its fishballs and I must say i agree. I have never tasted so good fishball in my life – delicious -. Beside fish-products and other kinds of stalls, there is on the island a cave which we of course should go and see. The trip to the cave was amazing, we were walking along the water and had the most amazing view of the ocean with small fishing boats. The Island is like many other places in Hong Kong very beautiful and has it’s own charm.
