Moments from Amsterdam 

 Hi dear follows
I have now been in Amsterdam for 3 days. I fly Friday afternoon and arrived to Center at the evening. 

    After dropping of the package, we met up with  some of my cousin’s old friends from high school at Restaurant Lastage. The food was absolutely fantastic at the restaurant. Not only was the food a pleasure for the eye, we call really talk about foodPORN. The food was also a journey for the mouth and you can feel the pasion and the love behind the foods. I can only recommend Lastage. Having dinner at Lastage is a tradition for my cousin, when his Danish friends comes and visits him. 
The dinner at Lastage started 7:00 p.m and we left the restaurant at 11:50 pm.  It was a five courses menu with small dishes, So it took some time, but we where talking laughing. When I came back to the apartment I was really tried. This was the view I woke up to the next morning, the view from my cousin’s apartment, absolut stunning.   Yesterday I went out to take a look of the city. I love the look the city have, I find the city very beautiful with all the smal rivers and the old facades.

At the evening I went to my cousin’s party. It was a walking dinner which I have never tried before. Besides more great food, we where dancing, talking and drinking. 
So far my stay in Amsterdam have been amazing and I love it.

Sunshine, Stripes and Sommer mood, I’m happy. I have only 8 days left, before the study period for the exams begin, and I’m so looking forward to finish High School. But before I have my last school day, next Thursday, I’m going to visit Amsterdam.

Friday afternoon I fly off to Amsterdam, where I’m going to stay until Tuesday. I’m going to stay at my cousin’s please, near The Red light District. I have never been in Amsterdam before, so I’m really looking forward to this trip.
I don’t have any special plans for what to experience while  I’m staying in Amsterdam. Not besides that we Friday evening are going to have dinner at Restaurant Lastage and Saturday evening we are going to my cousin’s birthday party.

Solskin, Striber og sommer humør, jeg er glad. Jeg har lige nu kun 8 dage tilbage på gymnasiet, før læseferien begynder, og jeg ser virkelig frem til, at afslutte gymnasiet. Men inden jeg har sidste skoledag, på næste torsdag, så tager jeg lige et smut til Amsterdam.

Fredag eftermiddag flyver jeg afsted til Amsterdam, jeg skal være i Amsterdam indtil tirsdag, hvor jeg igen flyver hjem. Imens jeg er i Amsterdam skal jeg bo hos min fætter, som bor tæt på The Red light Distriktet. Jeg har ikke tidligere været i Amsterdam, så jeg ser virkelig frem til at oplev byen og det hele.
Jeg har ikke nogen specielle planer, for hvad jeg skal opleve i Amsterdam, mens jeg er der. Ikke udover at jeg fredag aften skal ud og spise på restaurant Lastage, og lørdag aften skal jeg til min fætters fødselsdagsfest.

Ready For Christmas

Christmas Dinner

Christmas is so near and still so far away. I love Christmas, for me Christmas is all about getting together with friends and family, which including a lot of Christmas dinner.

Next weekend I’m going to this year’s first Christmas dinner with some friends. I therefore needed a perfect outfit for this upcoming event, and I wouldn’t mind at all to this lovely outfit.

I’m really like the blouse from Esprit.dk. It was love at first sights, when I found it on the website. I love the cut the blouse has and it’s shinny and elegant look. I will wear a pair of White skinny jeans to the outfit, so it doesn’t get to dark.  White jeans is very ‘now’ here in Denmark right now, and I find them to be a great contrast to all the darkness outside and in my style.
Red and gold is for me ‘Christmas colors’, and are colors that you always can wear at this time. I will therefore use a lovely dark red lipstick, which will make the look sexy and dramatic. For the eye makeup I will use a lot of mascara, some eyeliner and Golden Smokey eyes, which I think will complete the outfit.

Julen nærmer sig, men er stadig så lang væk. Julen handler for mig om, at tilbringe tid sammen med dem jeg holder af. Det indebærer derfor en del julekomsammen, med masser af god mad. I næste weekend, helt præcis på næste fredag, skal jeg til årets første julefrokost hos nogle venner. Til den anledning mangler jeg et outfit, jeg vil absolut ikke have noget imod at ifører mig overstående outfit. Hvad med dig ?

Blusen er fra Esprit.dk, og var kærlighed ved første blik!! Jeg elsker blusens elegance og den glitrende effekt den har. For ikke at gøre outfittet alt for mørkt, vil jeg kombinere blusen med et par hvide jeans, som er et MUST ligefor tiden. Jeg er vilde med de hvide jeans, da de bryder alt der mørke der er udenfor, men også i mit klædeskab.
Rød og Guld er to farver jeg forbinder med julen. Jeg ville tilføje den røde farve med en mørkerød læbestift, som vil give et sexet og dramatisk input til outfittet. Som øjemakeup ville jeg bruge en masse mascara, eyeliner og lave Golden smokey eyes, hvilket ville fuldende looket.

Chinese Steamed Egg Custard

It is already two week since I left Hong Kong. Where is the time gone ? Now it is back to school but I will first keep my memories from Hong Kong alive a bit longer. When I was in Hong Kong, I tried “Steamed Egg Custard”. I have afterwards found a recipe for the dish. The orginale egg custard I triede in Hong Kong contained chinese mushrooms, but this is without because I don’t know where to find them.


Der er allerede gået to uge, siden jeg kom hjem fra Hong Kong. Hvor bliver tiden dog af ? Det er nu tilbage til skolen, men inden da vil jeg lige holde liv i mine ferieminder fra Hong Kong. Da jeg var i Hong Kong smagte jeg “Steamed Egg Custard”, jeg har efterfølgende fundet en opskrift. Den egg custard jeg prøvede i Hong Kong indeholdte svampe, men denne er uden, da jeg ikke ved hvor jeg kan skaffe dem.

For two persons:

  • 2 eggs 
  • 6 oz water 
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • Chives (Optional)
  1. In a small mixing bowl. Whisk the egg untill the egg white and yolk are totally combined with chopsticks in circling motions.
  2. Add the water and the salt and stir again in one direction.
  3. pour the egg mixture through a sieve into two small containers and cover the containers with alumium foil.
  4. Fill the steamer with water and place the containers down in the steamer. If you don’t have a steamer, you can make one right here. 
  5.  Bring the water to boil. Steam the egg curstard for 7-10 minuts. You can test by inserting a toothpick. 
  6. Add the chives. Bon Appetit 😛 

For to personer:

  • 2 æg
  • 180 ml vand
  • 1/2 tsk salt
  • Purløg (Kan undlades)
  1. Slå ægget ud i en skål og rør det sammen med spisepinde i cirkelbevægelser indtil æggehvide og blomme er blandet sammen.
  2. Tilsæt vand og salt og rør igen sammen i cirkelbevægelser.
  3. Si æggemassen ned i små portions skåle og til dæk skålene med stanniol .
  4. Hæld vand i en gryde og placere skålene i gryden på en dampeindsats og bring vandet i kog. Har du ikke en dampeindsats, kan du stadig godt lave dem Se her 
  5. Når vandet koger, skal de damp i ca. 7-10 min. Du kan evt tjekke efter med en tandstik.
  6. Drys med purløg. Bon Appetit 😛
